Late February marks two important dates: my birthday & the Academy Awards. Luckily for all this year Sunday will be Oscar viewing time while Monday will be my birthday celebrating time! So convenient, right?
I have never hosted an Oscar party but have always wanted to. Being around my birthday usually the weekend is pretty full & Sundays are a hard night to play hostess. But there are so many fun options to watching the Oscars in style that I just had to put together my fantasy party!

The focus is of course on the show, so I’d keep it fairly simple & low key with themed beverages & food. My favorites are the edible Oscars & the tuxedo wine glasses. And I love the idea of taking the movie staple of popcorn & setting up your own fixings bar! The dress code should be casual with a fun twist- I love this pajamas & pearls idea!
