I think lace can be a bit difficult to pull off, without looking like you’ve arrived from the Victorian Era. Or are wearing a wedding dress. A little lace can go a long way, so for work I love the look of a lacy blouse with more structured pants or jacket, or a dark lace for evening.

And while evening dresses aren’t necessarily appropriate for work, these were just too pretty to not include! Plus I think they’d be great for any type of evening work event since they are feminine & not overly sexy.
I have to admit I am not big into the lace craze for those reasons. I am not the most graceful person so it wouldn’t last long due to me snagging it.
I have a lace skirt from Paris that I cherish. So much so that I rarely wear it because I’m afraid of snagging it!
